Roof Replacement
As roof replacement contractors, we strip failed industrial roofs back to the deck and fit a complete new system built to current standards, so you get one job rather than another repair every winter.

When roof replacement is the right call
You need a roof replacement when there's nothing left to work with: insulation holding water, sheets corroded through, fixings that no longer grip. Past that point, every repair is borrowed time, and the money is better spent on a roof that starts again.
When it's the right call, it's one job rather than a rolling series of them. The old covering comes off and the deck is repaired or renewed. The rainwater goods and the edges are done at the same time, so nothing old is left to fail against a new roof. You get a lifecycle plan for the years after it.
The survey settles it. It covers the deck, the fixings and the covering, and it ends with a straight answer: a recover, a re-sheet or a full industrial roof replacement. When it's the replacement, the specification, the programme and the price are on paper before the roof comes off.
Independently assessed and approved by key industry organisations.

What we cover
What a roof replacement covers
Here's what our roof replacement work covers, from the first survey through to handover, and none of it turns up as an extra on an invoice later.

Roof survey and condition assessment
We look at the deck, the fixings and the cover. That tells us whether you need a replacement, or whether a refurbishment will still get you there.

Strip-out and deck repair
The old roof comes off, then the deck is made good or renewed. Any asbestos is handled as non-licensed work, by trained and insured operatives.

New system installation
We fit Kingspan composite roof systems where the original is beyond repair. Each one is specified for the insulation you need and a finish that keeps the weather out.

Rainwater goods and edge details
New fascias, gutters and downpipes go on with the roof, so the water gets away properly. The edges aren't left as the weak point against a new covering.

Handover and lifecycle planning
We sign the finished roof off and give you a maintenance schedule, because a roof that's looked after reaches its full service life instead of stopping short.

Systems we install
Kingspan is what we fit where the whole roof is being replaced, and the manufacturer system guarantee comes with it.

Our Process
How a roof replacement runs, step by step
It runs in five steps, from the first survey through to the handover pack at the end.

One point of contact and a clear start
Once you've approved the written specification, you get one contracts manager as your point of contact. They confirm the programme, the start date and the access with you before anything's booked in.

Programme, lead time and access agreed in writing
Before the work starts, we set out the programme: the lead time from order, how long each stage takes, and which parts of the building stay in use while it's going on. You get it in writing.

Hold points and sign-offs as the work runs
The job is split into stages, with hold points agreed in advance. When the strip-out exposes the deck, we walk it with you and confirm the substrate before the new build-up goes on. Every stage is photographed for your records. You'll know which phase we're on, what's coming next, and what we need from your team to keep it moving.

Variations handled openly, building kept weathertight
Sometimes what the survey assumed changes once the roof is open: hidden damage in the deck, say, or a service that has to be moved. When that happens we price the variation and get your sign-off before we carry on, so the cost doesn't drift without you knowing. We work in bays and close each one up as we go, so the building underneath stays dry and in use while the Kingspan system goes on.

Handover pack and a planned maintenance call-back
At the end you get a handover pack: the as-built details, the manufacturer system guarantee paperwork and the photographs from every stage. Finance and procurement have it all on file. We put a first maintenance visit in the diary too, rather than leaving you to remember it. The roofs that reach full service life are the ones somebody keeps looking at.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
It comes down to the size of the roof, the system specified, and how easy the building is to get at. We survey first, then you get a written scope and price, with the cost of a recover or a re-sheet set against the cost of a full strip-out.
A full replacement is the answer when the deck or the build-up can't be made watertight again, and a recover, a re-sheet or an overclad won't hold either. The survey tells you which of those you're looking at, because it covers the fixings as well as the sheets.
Usually, yes. We programme the work so the building keeps running, phasing the strip-out and the new system so what's underneath stays covered. The programme and the start date are in writing before anyone starts.
We fit Kingspan composite roof systems, specified for the thermal performance your building needs and for keeping the weather out. The rainwater goods and edge details are renewed with it, so the new roof drains the way it should.
