Cladding
We repair, treat and replace roof and wall cladding, and most of what we find gets sorted panel by panel, long before a whole elevation has to come off.

Which cladding job your building needs
Cladding problems start small: rust creeping along a cut edge, laps starting to open, a panel staining or letting damp through. Leave it and the corrosion works its way in from the edge into the sheet, and once it's that far, treating it stops being an option.
The routes run from light to heavy: cut edge corrosion caught in time gets treated and recoated. Sheets that have failed are replaced and matched to the profile already on the building, in composite panel or profiled steel. Where a roof or an elevation is tired rather than failed, a refurbishment or a recover brings it back without taking the lot off. Standing seam is an option where the building suits it. Which route you're on depends on how far it's gone, not on what the building is. Industrial roof cladding on a warehouse, commercial roof cladding on an office, wall cladding on either: all of it gets looked at the same way.
As a cladding contractor, we record every sheet on the survey, so what comes back to you is a recommendation panel by panel rather than one blanket price. What's treated, what's replaced and what each of those costs is in writing before we ask you to decide anything.

What we cover
What our cladding work covers
From the first survey to the last panel, these are the cladding services we do. Each job is specified around your building: how it's built, how exposed it is, and how you want it to look.

Industrial roof cladding
Composite panel and profiled steel roof cladding for warehouses, factories and distribution units. We fit it weather-tight as the programme runs.

Wall cladding
New and replacement wall cladding, matched to the existing line and finish. The elevation reads as one.

Cladding refurbishment and recover
We overclad or re-sheet a tired building rather than strip it out, where the substrate is sound enough.

Composite panel and profiled steel cladding
Insulated composite panels give you a set thermal performance off one install. We also fit profiled steel sheeting for roof and wall, on its own or as the outer skin of a built-up system.

Cut edge corrosion treatment
We wire-brush, treat and recoat the cut edges and laps of existing cladding sheets. That halts corrosion and adds years of life before any sheet needs replacing.

Standing seam roofing
Standing seam metal roofing, on concealed clips. No exposed fasteners across the field of the roof. The result is a clean, long-life finish on industrial and commercial buildings.

Our Process
How a cladding job runs
Five steps run from the site survey to the guarantee, worked in sections so the building stays weathertight.

Cladding site survey
We survey the roof and elevations from MEWPs or access equipment to suit the height of the unit. We record the sheet profile, fixings and lap condition, and check whether the existing skin is sound enough to recover or needs replacing. On occupied warehouses and factories, we plan the access and edge protection around how the building is used, so production keeps running.

Written specification with programme and price
We set out the recommended route. That might be a new composite panel build-up, a re-sheet or an overclad. The manufacturer product guarantee and any A2-rated requirement are confirmed in writing before anything is ordered. You see the programme and the price for the industrial or commercial roof cladding works before you commit.

Materials ordered and site set up
With the specification signed off, we order the panels or sheets and rig safe access. We work under IPAF and to NFRC and CHAS standards. As cladding contractors in Scotland, we sequence the works so the unit stays weathertight at the end of every shift. The deliveries, plant and loading bays the occupier relies on stay clear and usable while we are on site.

Installation in weathertight sections
We strip, re-sheet or overclad area by area rather than opening the whole roof at once. As we go, we fit the composite panel and tie in flashings, verges and penetrations. We sequence the elevations around the occupier's access and the weather. Each bay is closed up and watertight before we open the next, so the building is never left exposed overnight.

Inspection, sign-off and guarantee
We walk the finished roof and walls with you and check laps, fixings and weathering. Then we hand over the manufacturer product guarantee confirmed at specification stage. Where existing sheets were kept rather than renewed, we can also arrange cut edge corrosion treatment to protect them. Much of our cladding work comes from estates and facilities teams we have worked for before. So we leave the building in a state that earns the next call.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Cladding is the outer skin of roof and wall on an industrial or commercial building. It is fitted in composite panel or profiled steel. It keeps the structure weathertight and insulated. We fit new cladding and refurbish existing cladding across Scotland and into the north of England.
Recladding strips the old skin back and fits a new one. Overcladding fits a new outer skin over the existing one where the substrate is sound. That keeps cost and disruption down. We assess the existing sheets first and recommend the route that lasts.
Often, yes. Where the sheets themselves are still sound, cut edge corrosion treatment extends their life and holds a replacement off. We price the treatment against a recladding on the same report, so you can see what the extra years cost.
We install composite panel and profiled steel, built-up and single-skin, for roof and wall. The manufacturer product guarantee is confirmed in your written specification before any work starts.
Accreditation matters on an operational site. We are an NFRC member and CHAS Elite accredited to the Common Assessment Standard (membership 179269, valid to 12 June 2027). We hold Alcumus SafeContractor approval, IPAF membership and CITB-registered employer status. Our team carries the CSkills Awards Level 2 Diploma in Roof Sheeting and Cladding, CITB Roofing and PASMA.
